Where it all started.
Pere Ollé began competing at the highest level of Trial, quickly establishing himself among the world’s elite riders. His experience on the global stage laid the foundation for a deep understanding of performance, precision, and control that would later define his approach to suspension design.
From workshop to manufacturer.
After years involved in professional competition, Pere Ollé founded his own suspension workshop, applying his technical knowledge to real-world performance. What started small quickly grew into a recognized manufacturer, evolving alongside the sport and contributing to key innovations in modern Trial and in many more motorcycle disciplines.
The full picture.
Building on that legacy, the brand expanded its range and capabilities, developing complete suspension systems for both riders and manufacturers. Today, that same drive for innovation continues beyond bikes, with expansion into the 4x4 market through advanced aftermarket solutions and new engineering challenges.

we too started in a garage.
R16V started in 1995 in a small garage in Collbató. Now delivering worldwide.
1978
Trial World Championship
Pere Ollé debuts at the Trial World Championship with Montesa, beginning a professional career that would go on to shape modern trial riding.
1981
Best world ranking
Pere Ollé achieves 4th place at the Trial of Sweden the best result of his professional career and a milestone that confirmed his place among the world's elite riders.
1982
The Bike That Changed Trial
Signing with Beta, Pere Ollé co-develops the motorcycle that revolutionized modern Trial. This allowed Jordi Tarrés to win his first world championship title.
1995
Ollé Amortidors Is Born
Pere Ollé creates Ollé Amortidors in his garage in Collbató, applying decades of technical knowledge to suspension design. The beginning.
2001
Moving to Igualada
Driven by growing demand, Ollé Amortidors relocates to Igualada. From a single building to the four facilities that make up the company as it stands today.
2012
R16V Suspension Is Born
The range expands from rear shocks to front forks. R16V Suspension is born named after Pere Ollé's father and becomes the official commercial name of the brand.
2022
A New Era: The 4x4 Market
In collaboration with Nadaltech, R16V creates the first aftermarket shock for the Porsche Cayenne compatible with original pneumatic struts. A new chapter.
